Our Team.

Marcus Badger is a Principal at Speyside Equity, where he is responsible for executing and managing investments.

Before joining Speyside Equity in 2025, Marcus accumulated 18 years of principal investing experience across lower middle-market private equity and private credit.  Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Deerpath Capital Management.  Prior to that, he held private equity roles at Raymond James Capital, the former internal private equity arm of Raymond James Financial (NYSE: RJF) and Frontenac Company, a private equity firm focused on partnering and investing with experienced operating leaders.

A graduate (BBA) of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Marcus obtained his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
